Using hotel review data to analyze the highest-rated service scores, Expedia’s ‘Friendliest Communities’ report aims to determine the most “helpful, dutiful, and welcoming experiences across the country.” So while it may not be the most accurate representation of how a stranger might greet you on the street in any particular town or city, it does reveal where you’re most likely to get the royal treatment as a visitor.
