Ikki Izakaya

“Ikki Izakaya was established by Takako Ishikawa; she wanted to introduce welcoming food and drinks that were simple and delicious. She believed that drinking your favorite sake with friends, co-workers or sometimes alone with great food could always heal a person’s soul and provide energy for the coming day.

Ikki Izakaya quickly gained popularity among the community for a friendly and fun atmosphere. Her signature dishes such as motsu – a home-style stew – gained popularity as well. As a result, she opened a second location in Asia soon there after.

With the introduction of Ikki Izakaya in the thriving and dynamic central Edmonton community of Oliver, we are committed to offering you a true izakaya experience. We look forward to seeing you after a long day at work or a hectic day at home! Let’s drink sake together, KAMPAI !!”

Sherlock Holmes Pub

“One of Edmonton’s most popular gathering establishments, everyone seems to have a ‘Sherlock’s story’: having met their wife, had their 1st date or their 18th Birthday party there. Even if they don’t have a story mention the name ‘Sherlock Holmes Pubs’ to an Edmontonian and they’ll probably reply with “its fun, laid-back and friendly.”

Whether you stop by for a drink with a friend, a bite before a movie, concert or sports event or to enjoy the weekend live entertainment, The Sherlock Holmes Pubs has something for everyone.”

Blind Enthusiasm Brewing

“Blind Enthusiasm is a many-headed beast driven by our passion for great beer and fine food. Our neighborhood brewery at the Ritchie Market co-habits with our restaurant Biera; they’re practically inseparable with the showpiece brewhouse in a glass box adjacent to the warm industrial Biera dining room. Chef Christine Sandford has devised a creative and delicious menu inspired by European bistro fare, and head brewer Rob Monk makes delicately balanced beers to match the food, and satisfy any beer drinker.”
